Summary of Position
We are hiring Production Technicians to join our team and play a critical role in assembling new implant and access products.
This is a permanent, on-site, full-time position based at M4D LLC, Lake Forest, CA.
We are looking for applicants with previous experience in microscope assembly in a medical device industry and a general knowledge of clean room procedures. Preferably catheters, balloons, stents, coils, and similar.
This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor working within the manufacturing department assembling and packaging medical device products. This position will also work under the close supervision of the line lead.
Responsibilities
- Uses written and verbal instruction to assemble and package products.
- Records the process of the production product on build records.
- Recognizes problems as they arise and interfaces with technicians/engineers to find a solution.
- May assist in manufacturing prototypes for R&D.
- Completes quality control forms.
Qualifications
- Ability to do small part assembly work under a microscope.
- Soldering and gluing experience of small parts under a microscope.
- A basic understanding of mechanical functioning equipment.
- Understanding of basic math.
- Knowledge of basic measuring techniques including scales, rulers, US and metric measurement.
- Ability to read and understand company procedures in English.
- Ability to comprehend assembly instructions and engineering drawings in English.
- Knowledge and willingness to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing, one piece flow, and value stream mapping.
Pay Range and Benefits
$17.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience
